This app will shut down your ability to receive voicemail phone messages once you delete the app. I downloaded it because it was free.

After they take 20 messages, they will tell you that you have to pay before they will take anymore. The also disable the ability for your phone to take voicemail without them. If you delete the app, you still will not be able to receive any voicemail messages by phone. I now have to go to AT&T and maybe even the Apple store to figure out how to start getting voicemail messages again.

Its unfortunate because the app does do a great job of retrieving messages for you when its active.

However, you should not be punished for deciding not to use the app. I have no idea how many important messages I have missed.

Review about: Youmail Mobile Application.

Reason of review: Damaged or defective.

Preferred solution: Let the company propose a solution.

I didn't like: Disabled my ability to receive voicemail.

Youmail is a FREE app with payed features for high volume users but Youmail will not stop to take voicemails after 20 voicemails this is not true. As a free users you are able to store up to 100 messages before Youmail auto deletes your oldest messages, if you want a larger inbox you can pay for the premium plan to store 1000s of messages. When you use Youmail you need to set call forwarding to YouMail so that YouMail can manage your missed calls just like any voicemail service. If you want to cancel this forwarding you need to follow the easy steps here:https://support.youmail.com/hc/en-us/articles/200478098-How-to-Cancel-Your-YouMail-Account-Return-to-Your-Carrier-Voicemail
